FLR (M) English language requirement A2 or B1

Sorry I am writing in this thread as i feel my question is similar to OP's inquiry.

I have a general question regarding A2 English language level. My wife had done SELT IELTS back in may 2015 scoring 5.5 in each section and 5.5 overall band. She needs extension in her visa due in December. Does that score reflects A2 English level please? Also for ILR, I assume B1 level is required. Is that score suffice for B1 as well or she would need to sit in another test to achieve higher band please??

She needs to have done the A2 test.

B1 is the requirement for ILR at the moment. It could change in 2 or 3 years time.

Thanks for reply. Actually I wanna know equivalence of 5.5 IELTS band in terms of A2 and B1? Whether 5.5 is enough to meet A2 level and also B1 please?
