Surrender of Indian passport - Document

Post by kandasamy » Wed Jul 20, 2016 9:49 pm

Hi All,

Recently i got my British passport and planned to surrender my Indian passport. when i check the VFS site under the document required they mentioned that "Self-attested photocopy of Indian passport (All used pages)"
My wife and kids are having 2 passports ( valid and Expiry one) . Please let know whether i need to take photocopy of Valid passport or i need to take photocopy of both valid and Expiry one.

Thanks

Hi,

I am in the same boat and surrendered my Indian passport in Scotland.

Self-attested photocopy of Indian passport (All used pages):

For my case I have both expired and current valid passport and the VFS office has taken a self-attested copy of current/valid Indian and British passport copies where i have signed my signature on those pages where arrival/departure stamps were pasted by entry clearance office
