I-94

Post by Artur » Tue Dec 11, 2007 1:11 pm

I have a question.I'm from Poland, I have stayed in the US on an I-94 status. I entered in March and was suppose to leave in September. In the begining of August I filed for an extension for next 3 months. They didn't reply till begining of October. In the letter I've read that they rejected my form (my information was to general) and gave me 30 days to leave the US. So I did. I'm planing to visit the US somtime before May. The question is: are they going to give me a hard time because I have " legaly overstayed" last time? How big is the possibility that they won't let me in? I am a speed skater. I was on a Polish Olympic team in Torino 2006. My Visa type is B1/B2. (travel/buisness). I want to get married with my girlfriend which is a US citizen. All I need is an I-94 for three months and then I can take care of everything from there.
Thanks for Your help
