ILR under Tier 2 5yr route

Post by yogeeta75 » Tue Dec 20, 2016 2:42 pm

Hi all,

I was checking the Tier 2 route to ILR.

The minimum salary threshold of £35000 /2016, £35500/2018 are they based on the number of hours per week? that is 39hrs for e.g soc code 3538.
What if im earning £36000@40hrs per week - will they prorata it and see that for a 39hr/week it comes to £35,100 so this is less than £35500 - assuming to apply after April 2018

The experienced rate is £27500 for soc code 3538.

Please help!!
Thanks

£36000@40hrs per week- it is absolutely fine and will be counted as £36K.

(pro-rata comes only when you paid by hours and work more than 48HRs/week. on that case they will take the earnings figure for up to 48HRs. So to make it simple you can claim for up to 48Hrs/week income to cover this threshold, when you paid by hours.)
