Can we apply with the same guidlines? when will Tier I be effective? I am just worrying if I apply now and if rules change for tier I then my application should not be returned.

Dear members of standing,

I intend to apply for HSMP. My query here is about the past earnings.

I started a temprory job last February that was made permanent in the start of May. Hence for May and June I have received salary from both temp agency and the permanent job(I received taxed holiday pay in June). Both the Salaries have been received in the same account.

I shall be greatfull if you Could please advise as to how I should document this.

i have sent my application on 7th jan, it reached on 9th and the fees is deducted on the same day i.e 9th jan. till now not recieved any reference/ acknowledgment number.

i sent my application on 2nd JAN in the UK (INCOUNTRY APPLICATION), paid through postal order . Yet to hear from the agency as i have requested for acknowledgement. No reference number yet.
But my main problem is my current student visa is expiring on 16th january. What should you guys advise me to do?
1. Call home office and EXPLAIN SITUATION---will i be an illegal immigrant?
2. Go home (india) and wait for results and then come to UK?
3.Apply for IGS and then submit HSMP approval later? what will be the cost ? But my documents are all with the 1ST hsmp application.

I am confused.

Delivered to Sheffield on 9-Jan (Tracked thru fedex)
No deductions for payment have been made till now(Paying thru Credit Card)...

What shud i do now?

wait and watch... urs is the same timeline as mine... i also paid thru cc... i have called up my bank and they have confirmed that the amount has been debited on 9th itself.. so jus waiting for my reference no. hope i will get this by monday.

My details:
-Sent application on 4th jan (Fedex)
- Reached Shefield on 8th.
- CC is credited on the same day.

I am yet to get acknowledge/reciept number, waiting. Is there a way to contact HO for reference/reciept number, how does it work, any comments?

I will keep updates posted.

Hi all,

I called up HO and they confirmed to me that the transaction was declined on the card which i mentioned in the payment detail section.

1. Is transaction declined means that i will have to send application for review or just change the payment mode(provide other cards info) and resend the application.

2.Approx how much time will the doc take to reach India?

3.What is the most reliable and fast medium of payment?

you can call HO CC and simply talk to customer care rep just mention that the call is for "missing reference number" and then u'll be asked for your name and date of birth.

Hi Guys,

I have applied for HSMP
Sent courier on 5th Jan
HO received on 7th Jan
Fees deducted on :9th Jan
No Ref no received yet...I called up them on 14th Jan...They said that they will send my Ref number may 2 weeks down the line...then I asked them how much time they will take for whole procedure....cant believe he told me that it could take 14 weeks....I donno how to react...and what to do...tis very long duration.

Delivered to HomeOffice on 15th
Fee credited to my CC on the same day
Reference no- not today of course!! well how much time i should expect to get Ref No?

11 Jan:application sent thru Fedex
15 Jan: application delievered in HO(payment thru CC)
Same day charges are deducted

Waiting for the ref no. now

Hi Friends,
I have a query regarding the proof of earnings that we submit for salary slips or bank statements (exceptional evidence).

Its given that the earnings can be of any of the 12 consecutive months in the last 15 months time frame.

So my query is, If i apply by February 2008, can i show the earnings for the period of Nov'2006 - Oct'2007?

November 2006 is 15th month when counted back from Feb'2008...

I just wanted to make sure about this, as I already gathered the bank statements & attested salary slips for this period.

Kindly confirm.

Yes...but they said they will send Ref no anytime in coming 2 weeks...but they sent on 16th when I called them up in 14th

My prev company salary acct was closed, they are pissing me off to give a statement for that account.

Will keep u updated abt the status.

Guys..I am not having NARIC with me, Shall I try my luck or shall I send the application without NARIC.
BTW: I have done BTECH from JNTU, Hyderabad. I have seen this is in universities list in international comparision
