Pre-action letter for Tier 1 Extn Delay - 9 months

Post by n8net » Wed Mar 15, 2017 12:19 pm

I have seen if one other thread, an OP has sent a PRE-Action letter to HO and got a decision immediately after.

since I hv an urgent need too (waiting for the application for last 9 months), I am also thinking about that..
But, it looks like PRE-Action is taken only during JR and it a way of "threatening" HO with legal actions for delays..

is there any problems taking this action for PBS based Tier 1 Ent. Extn. applications? Is it even applicable ?

if so, is it something that should be only done via a solicitor ? any1 with any more info on this please ?

thanks

Hi Arvind,

could you please shed more light on "Pre-Action" letter.

a) Is it something only legal profesiional can send ?

b) If, nor mal individuals can send it, could you share the format ?

c) Is there any implications to applicants case, by sending such a letter ?

Thanks

is not a letter which you can send only after once your AR has been refused. ??

Please clarify ?

(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

thanks Casa.

but in this instance OP claims to have used it before JR stage and in fact for an application that is pending..

is this allowed and if so what are the implications for the case?

thanks
