Fee taken but no biometric letter for 3 weeks, is it normal?

Post by user_name » Sat Apr 08, 2017 5:21 pm

Hi,

Tier 1 dependent (spouse + children) extension applied.
Feed deducted on the day after delivery of application form at Home Office.
It has been three weeks since the fees take but no biometric letter received so far.

Is it normal?

Looking at the thread in this forum for Timeline, it seems like the biometric letter usually received pretty soon after the fees taken.

Any advice / thoughts?

Thanks.

Possible delay could be a rush of applications before the fee increase on 6th April and also, it can take a few weeks, suggest be patient.

Thank you CR001 for the reply.

Unfortunately I have't still received any correspondence at all from Home Office so far.

And I am getting a little concerned as the current visa expires !! and also I don't have any details (such as a Reference Number) as I have made a postal application.

Is there a way to contact Home Office Tier 1 Dependent Extension team - email / phone number ?

Many Thanks.
