Tier 1 200k Extension approved -advice for long waitees

Post by n8net » Tue Apr 25, 2017 11:02 am

Hi,

one of my friend had his long standing Tier 1 Extension approved (200k) after 10 months after a nudge from local MP.

I would like to thank members of this forums for their insights and help even though some Mods were anything but. (exception Zimba at some times)

I felt I had been victimised unnecessarily and during one of the stressful times (was on a race against time to get this visa for personal reasons and was pursuing a lot of open options ) and this made difficult by some mods who locked threads and removed my privileges to send and receive PM without notice.

anyway, we have beaten the odds and got what we wanted and I believe this would not have possible without the help from some members of this wonderful forum.

I like to give it back and return the favour..and if any of you are waiting for longer than aceeptable timelines and hv not received "your case if complicated letter", just go to your local MP.

It cannot be a co-incidence why so my application get decided once you go to MP which highlights HO bureaucratic delay. (do not just assume, making queries will damage ur applications as there are no legal precedence for that) and do not sit on your hands waitng for HO to decide...

take some logical and meaningful steps and apply common sense...after all, what sort of further checks takes months....

I shall wish everyone good luck..

ah,,before, I forget the, time line

applied April 2016
interviewed Sept 2016
contacted MP April 2017
approved April 2017.

Thanks

Hi, congratulations on getting your visa approved.

My case is also pending with the HO and this is my second application as the first one was rejected because of lack of important documents. I just wanted to know what type of questions they asked you in the interview and why this was necessary as most of the people I know got them in 5-10 weeks after the biometrics and without the need of interview.

Regards

Hi
Did you receive your IHS refund? If you have, when have you received it?

I agree, get a visa after a letter to MP isn't co-incedence.

Please continue in your own topic, link below, rather than tag onto a topic from earlier this year. Also, you only applied in August.
