Long Term Sick Leave: Qualified Status?

Post by Danlieb » Mon Jun 19, 2017 2:47 pm

Hi there,

Spouse and I applied for EEA and non-EEA PR (Qualifying period Jan 2012-Dec 2016).

Spouse has been on paid sick leave since Feb 2017 (outside the qualifying period). Even though this is outside the qualifying period, should we inform HO of the sick leave? Does it affect the PR decision?

If someone is on paid sick leave, do they still have Worker Status?

Thanks
