Strange situation of degree certificate

Post by cheers2boss » Fri Feb 15, 2008 10:43 pm

Hi Friends,

I have been reading this forum and it's rocking. I have landed into a strange confusion with degree certificate, hoping seniors will guide me.

I have passed my last degree exam in Nov 1999 but didn't collect my original degree certificate from university untill Nov 2007 (as I was unaware that a original degree will be issued in convocation, thought it will be sent to me via post -- degree from Open university). Now I am confused as to what has to be taken for "Date of award". Certificate says I have passed examination held in Nov 1999 but in the bottom of the certificate there is a date field which has Nov 2007 in it.

Could the experienced please guide me? I have letter from NARIC which says the degree is equivalent to British Bachelor (Ordinary) degree standard.
