Feb 2017 Application Approved!2 complex letters Received

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share my experience so that others waiting will have some hope!

Applied 12/2/17
Bio letter took three weeks to arrive
Bio given 10/3/17
Two weeks later Complex letter received
Then the waiting began....
Exactly 6 months from application date 12/Aug/17 Another complex letter received ( My case must be really really Complex
A few days later..
Aug 18/08 Bank alert IHS partial refund
Aug 19/08 BRP card received
Aug 20 All docs and passports received.

Thanks to members of this forum for posting their experiences so that I was able to avoid making silly mistakes in my application and the list of documents to put together shared by members was also of great help.

My thanks to the Almighty God for answered prayers - He has done it for my family again!

For those waiting just hope and don't forget to PRAY!

Nothing complex about my application, I guess they were just buying time. If the Home Office had waited just 1 month longer to issue my visa then, I would have been able to apply for 10 years settlement when this visa expires. But oh well, I'm glad because the waiting was killing me

Sorry I should have posted 19th even though I did receive on Sunday because I missed delivery on Saturday and collected from my local Post Office Mail centre on Sunday.

Thanks! I've only actually checked and it says "decided" on 14th August. I used my case ID minus the zero in front else it will throw an error.

Congratulations on your approval - I do not think I have every heard of anyone getting 2 exceptionally complex letters. Then again, there is a first time for everything.

I was very worried indeed after the 2nd letter came but from my experience now, I am now more convinced that these letters are auto generated. It was exactly the same as the first letter only difference is the date.

So people who have received the complex letter shouldn't worry about it too much. I don't think it has any thing to do with your application - HO is just buying time to clear the back log.
