Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General - maintenance letter question

Hi,

My wife is working as a contractor with a tier 2 ICT dependent visa. She has been offered a Tier 2 General sponsorship. She will be travelling to home country to apply for the tier 2 general. Since she has been working as a contractor, she has a business bank account with her limited company. For maintenance funds, she has sufficient funds in her business bank account, but she doesnt have enough in her personal account

1.) Can we show business bank account statement for maintenance fund proof?
2.) I read somewhere that if the applicant was already in UK for the past 12 months in any Tier 2 category, then the applicant needn't show maintenance funds proof. How true is this?

1. It will have to be a personal account. If not possible, ask the employer to certify the maintenence.

The employer is ready to certify maintenance. But by mistake when raising CoS they have not chosen to mark maintenance as Y in the CoS. Can they add a sponsorship note to the CoS and take a print of the CoS and along with it can they issue a support letter? Will that work?

they can add a cos note and provide a letter and that'll be fine.
I cant see anywhere on the link where it says what u have said above.
A dependent when applying for tier 2 main applicant category requires to prove maintenance, no matter how long they have lives here.
