Premium Service Appointment (Document Return Question)

Post by AmazingSully » Sat Nov 18, 2017 5:10 pm

Hello all,

I just had a quick question regarding attending a premium service appointment. My appointment is next week, and I was wondering if they return your documents that day, or if you get them in the mail at a later date. I'm actually planning to move flat (which I have indicated on the application), and want to make sure they aren't going to be sending my documents to my old address.

Thanks for the assistance.

You'll get your original documents back on the same day if they give you a decision on the same day (and it should).
But the new BRP will be sent by a courier. You may ask to have it send to your work place.

If your application is approved, you get all your documents back on the day. The BRP card gets sent out by courier within 7-10 days, sometime sooner, sometimes later.

Thank you for the information guys. Do you know if it's possible to have the courier sent to a specific address?

For instance on the application it asks for my address (I put my current address), and it also asks where my partner and I plan to live (I put the address we are moving to, but haven't moved to yet). Just so happens we will be moving approximately 3 days after the appointment so I would prefer the new address be chosen and just want to make sure this won't be a problem.
