Tier 1 - FLR Extension Form(s)

Post by mjwall » Fri Mar 07, 2008 11:40 am

HI guys,

Just wondering if you could point me towards the FRL Tier 1 extension form(s) and guideline notes.

I'm planning to apply much earlier that the one month before expiry due to investing into UK property - I hope they don't mind!!

Cheers

Matt

application and guidence form are on the right hand side of this link
http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/workin ... /applying/

you need to make different application for dependent.

Hello,

I have received my HSMP approval on 7th Feb 2008. Currently I am on a work permit which is expiring on 30th April. Now I have to apply for FLR under Tier 1. I have few questions.
1. which section of the form should be filled ? (I guess 3a of Tier 1 form)
2. I understand foll docs are required for FLR: photos, bank stt, salary slips, work permit and passport. Please let me know if I am missing anything ?

I appreciate any help.

If you applying for Tier1 with HSMP approval letter in hand- need to submit following:
1. passport
2. Maintainance fund proof ( which is either bank statement/letter from bank)
3.HSMP approval letter
4. Photos

Correct me if I am wrong as I also need to apply, am in same situation.

I'm in the same boat, confusion over fee.
The fee for HSMP Extension is £350 or £750 under the so called Tier 1...

The sentence in the guidelines is confusing.

Its very clear -
- If you have HSMP approval letter from HO, then apply for FLR via Tier 1 (General) and pay £350.

Sent my application last Friday (7th March), waiting...

Wonder how long it would take as the PBS team is smaller than the HSMP team for now, however there should be fewer people to apply as it is only available in-country (for now).

Hi enthulon

A quick query.

Did you send one Tier1 application form with details of dependants or separate for ones for your wife and kid.

I can see there are separate forms available for dependants of Tier1 on the BIA web site.

Thanks

One form for me, as it is £350 for all three of us, good deal. Of course there is nothing to stop you to file them separately but you would need to pay separately as well.

HSMPSEQUENCE, when did they deduct from your bank account? I had sent mine last Friday and credit card deducted on Monday. Still waiting for reference number.

I had sent the dependent forms on Monday as I wasn't aware when I sent it out last Friday, so hope it all goes well otherwise the worse case is after a couple of weeks I get my own approval and my family not as they treat their separately which I didn't specify the fee payment.

Hi guys,
I have got HSMP approval letter and currently I am in UK on workpermit.I am planning to send HSMP flr tier 1 application very soon ...but I am still in some confusion as below....
1. Do I need to fill seperate application form for dependents? If yes then where I will get another depedent form.
2. If you have valid HSMP letter then which section of FLR form should not be filled like there are some sections for Qualification, age, income assessment,do I need to fill those as well?N.B. I am currently here on workpermit.
3. Section of maintainance of fund of around £850 - which proof I should provide for this section ? I am having Bank state with savings more than 2.5 lakhs and last 12 months salary slips will be sufficient?

Friends please guide me so that I can send it as early as possible.Your help will be helpful for me....

1 . Yes you need seperate application form for dependants - print it online from HO website
2. Yes if you have Approval letter you dont need ot fill in that section. Directly go to section Z
3. Funds maintainence - show proof as last 3 months banks statements or get a letter from bank stating that you have consistently maintened minimum of 850 GBP last 3 months. But i tried that and bank does not give that kind of letter atleast my bank did not.
4. You dont need ot give salary slips for last 12 months. Only 3 months is sufficient. I called HO and confirmed.

Hope that helps

Bhumi

Hi folks,

After getting the HSMP approval, I have applied for switching to HSMP from Work Permit yesterday.

The documents I sent along with the application form are:
1. Original HSMP Approval letter
2. Passport
3. Bank statements of my flexible saver account over the past 6 months.

Cheers!
