Citizenship application query

Hi,
Me and my wife had serious arguments and she is in india now. I am planning to go to india to settle the issue.
Currently my citizenship application is in process and I think it will take max 5-6 months to complete the process. My query is, after I went to india, if she file any cases (e.g 498a), will that affect to my application which is already in process? and will UKVI cross check with Indian embassy/any agency during their process? will they come to know if any cases outside UK?
