Has nobody heard anything? Was the CoS allocation meeting held today? It's odd that this thread has been dead today.

Yes, my future employer applied in the end of December. They, and their visa professional, haven't heard any news yet or received an update in the SMS.

Are you aware of your application score ?
Does it fall under shortage occupation list?

It should be between 40-45. I'm not sure exactly what salary they used. It does not fall under the shortage occupation list.

Hi all,
I’m awaiting outcome for my RCoS as well. Not expecting it to be successful given large number of applications/rejections last month and my points are low due to salary (NHS worker - about 30 I think) - very stressful/frustrating. Not sure where to go from here.
I suppose we can hope for a miracle though! Good luck to everyone.

I've been told mine is "under review" and that the UKBA will take up to an additional 5 working days to reach a decision, has anyone else received a similar result today? I'm a lowly 35 points so I'm assuming I won't be successful this month :/

I guess this is due to the large amount of applications? I didn’t even bother contacting HR for an update because I’m assuming it won’t be successful so I’m not sure if I have the same message or not currently.

Does your job fall under shortage occupation list ? If so you have better chances to be approved

Have you received any message from UKBA that they will take a decision on 5 days ?

No my job was recently removed from the list which is unfortunate however I was still the only applicant for the role in the 3 months it needed to be advertised so I feel it may have been taken off the list a tad prematurely.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the spike in applications in December and by the sounds of it January?

Has something changed or this just an anomaly?

It seems like its a anomaly. Last time this happened was on Jun 2015 which the score spiked to 55 as well I think, and then Jul score only reduced a bit based on previous news, it took them three month to get back to normal in 2015.. Not sure what will happen this time.
My employer applied last month and got refused due to not enough score - I scored at 49 points (not on short occupation list).. So have applied again this month, still haven't heard any news, I don't know if I can get it this time..

Hi Evehan, how come 49 points, based on RLMT + pay category i.e after 45k GBP it can be either a total of 45, den 50,55 so on. Correct me if am wrong

Hello, What's your application points?
20 for RLMT and 25 for salary (£49k) so 45 point.. HO is probably overwhelmed again still no news... Did you apply this month as well?
