Applying Germany work permit from UK

I am an Indian working in UK with a valid work visa until end of this year. I am considering a job opportunity in Germany. Can you please kind to clarify if i can apply for Germany work permit from UK and how long does it take to get a work permit?

You are living in the UK. You can apply from there. You should check the processing times with the Germans but it can be anywhere from few weeks to few months.
