Self-employment

Hello,
I'm excising treaty rights as a self-employed.
However, I'm thinking about closing my self-employed registration for a while, but not sure how it will affect my non-EEA soon-to-be-ex.
Her 5-years residence permit (family member of EEA) expires in September 2018.
1. Would she be able to renew her residence permit if my self-employment has been closed down just recently?
2. Could she apply for retained ROR if I cease to be self-employed at some point between decree nisi and decree absolute?
