Tier 2 category

Post by krish17 » Thu Feb 15, 2018 12:51 pm

I am currently on Tier 2 General Visa from 2015 and now I am changing to different sponsor.
labour market test has been completed and company has got certificate approved.
Now in the COS what should be selected under category is that Tier 2 (General - Changes of Employment - ISC exempt) or Tier 2 (General - New hires - restricted)??
Or it does not make any difference.
If somebody could reply me fast that could be a huge help.

Thanks,
Krish

General - Changes of Employment - ISC exempt; You should not apply for a restricted CoS if extending your Tier 2 from inside the UK

Hi Krish17

You mentioned you got the certificate approved. After your RLMT did your employer have to send the test results to HO to get it approved before applying for visa? How long did that take? I just wanted to know what happens after RLMT.

I don't think the employer has to send the test results to HO, because my visa got refused because of the RLMT, but I was able to get the CoS

Hi krish17,
One quick question.
Were you pre-selected?

Kind Regards
Kumar
