Applying for ILR/PR from Tier 2 General if I meet the salary requirement on secondment

Post by a321 » Fri Feb 16, 2018 10:49 am

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help -

my situation
- on Tier 2 general for just over 5 years
- current salary is just below £ 35,000
- my employer is a A rated sponsor

Question/ Clarification:
I have been offered some more responsibility (short term 6 - 9 months) in my current role and the employer has agreed to offer me a higher salary (more than 35,000) for short term (secondment). would I be able to apply for ILR/PR as my salary at the time of the application would be more than 35,000 ..... but it's a temporary salary increase (possibly 12 months ).

Thanks

As long as your SOC does not change. There is possibility that your sponsor will be investigated on why such a salary increase was applied
