MN1 online application

Hi

I am trying to fill online application for my son who is 3 months old born in UK. I have got ILR after his birth and applying for his BC.

My son doesn't have any passport or travel document, the only document we have is his birth certificate. In this case what do we need to fill in the nationality section of MN1 online form?

yes however what you need to fill in the nationality online application as you cant keep it empty.

is it nationality of the parents or its going to be stateless ?

As a best option , just book yourself NCS appointment . They will guide you what is being required . Your son needs passport until and unless it's stateless case.
