PBS dependent visa questions ..

Hello ,

I have read so much and still cant understand a few things , please advise .

1-PBS dependent of a Tier 2 migrant , how long does it take for their application to get processed? ( from Dubai )

2- The initial Entry clearance stamp is given for , what time scale? Within what time frame he has to travel to the UK?

3- Once in the UK he has one month to get the vignette ?

4- The only documents required are proof of relationship and bank statements showing that they can financially support themselves?

5- Does he need to show any qualifications or English language proficiency?

1. It depends if applied for using standard or priority. But likely up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer.

2. Initial visa will be valid for 30 days.

3. No. BRP Card is available to collect from your nominated Post Office within 10 days of arriving in the UK.

4. Yes, if that is what the form and checklist ask for. Plus marriage cert.

5. No.
