given Name and Family Name wrong on application form

Hi,

Please i need urgent help.

My mother yesterday applied for a visit visa but we have only just now realised that the Given name and the Family name is other way round in the application form.
We have accidentally put Given name as Family name and vice versa.

We have provided all the necessary documents to support her application but have made this mistake.

I am really worried if this can result on refusal?

Since, you applied only yesterday, you may write to them explaining the mistake. Refer it your application number.

I do believe they would accept the same.

i have emailed them and have received a reference, if i do not get a reply will call them.

What do you think are the chances of being refused just based on this?
