Living in Ireland, working in NI as spouse of Irish citizen

Post by AmerIrish » Wed Jul 11, 2018 12:56 pm

I am American, married to an Irish citizen. We had been living in the UK for 7 years (had children there as well) and now moved to Ireland. I have obtained a STAMP4EUFAM from Ireland. Can I work in Northern Ireland on this? If not, any recommendations on what I would need or could obtain in order to work across the border?

No you cannot as Stamp4EUFAM is specific to Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland falls under the UK Immigration rules and you would need an appropriate visa to be able to work there.
