where to submit spouse visa for my wife in Ghana

Can anyone help with find out of when I entered into the country (uk) as i have misplaced my passport which had the stamp to remian in the country.i am already British citizen but I need this information when filling out spouse visa form for my wife to join me.
I only remember the year I came but the form requires dd/mm/yyyy which is impossible for me to remember...my parents divorced more than 8years ago and haven't been incontact intill 2month ago when he passed away..anyone who could remember has either passed away or too old to remember my exact date..

hope you guys can help me, I currently live in the UK applying for a spouse visa for my wife who lives in Ghana, my question is do i submit and send the supporting documents, forms and evidence to ghana or can i/do i submit in the uk? i am so confused
