Hi all,
Did any one apply for Stage 2 from within UK? Appreciate if you can please share your experience.
Also How much time did it actually take for standard process. Any specifics or special points to take care of ?

Thanks much !!

Hi I applied in country, and got my stage 2 decision within 10 working days.
Stage 2 timeline was:
Application form filled on 31st July 2018
BRP details done on 2nd Aug 2018
Sent via 1st class postage and it was not fast track Normal application type.
Waited...waited and... no email confirmation of application received or acknowledgment at all...

On 17th August 2018 I received letter stating application has approved and you will received BRP in 10days, decision has been made on 14th August written on the approval letter.
So altogether 10working days.
I hope you will get your soon, I know so hard to count days when is in waiting for a final result.

Good luck

Thanks much for your reply. much appreciated.

One Question though what is the effective date for the new visa to come in force. Is the new visa start date from the data of decision or from the date on BRP ?
reason for asking that is to find date when my relation with old visa sponsor should effectively end.

It is the date of grant.

Your existing visa ends when you are granted a new one.
