Proof of residence with PR status

Hello,

I am an Italian citizen living in the UK since 2006.

I am about to apply for naturalisation and I understand I have to show proof of 5 years residence. I have got my PR in 2014 (EEA3) and I will be sending that, however I'm wondering if I have to provide proof of residence for the last 4 years (20014-2018) or for longer than that.
My husband, now naturalised British, applied 2 years after he received his PR (EEA4) and did not supply any proof of residence for his last 2 years , just his PR and his application was smooth and fast.
Am I overcomplicating things?

The rules say one has to show proof of residence for 5 years prior to date of application.
If some people do get away with fewer years proof they are lucky. Perhaps the other documents submitted are sufficient. You are risking your money if u dont send 5 years evidence and get refused

It's proof of 5 year from the date of your BC application
Council tax bill
Hmrc letter
Or p60 will do

As the OP is married to a British Citizen, then the proof of residence will be just 3 years before the application

My husband only became BC 2 years ago, would it still be okay to provide only the last 3 years residence documentation or shall I do 5 years to be on the safe side? Also I was unemployed between 2014-2017, would that be a problem even with a PR status?
