Tier 2 general - application delays

Post by Mikmerdawn04 » Thu Sep 27, 2018 1:44 am

Hi,

I applied for Migrant Worker (tier 2) for Isle of Man, unti now i still didn’t get any decision. Time line:

Vfs center: Singapore
Submitted application: 8/10/18
Biometrics: 8/10/18
Email acknowledgment from Shefo: 8/13/18
Shefo emailed looking for ielts ukvi (mine is not ukvi): 9/6/18
Emailed shefo the english as medium of instruction: 9/14/18
Shefo emaled looking for uk naric cert: 9/18/18
Shefo emailed not straightforward application: 9/18/18v
Replied that i cant get uk naric as my course
not qualified as bachelors degree in uk: 9/18/18

Called lots of times and paid lots for enquiries that is not even straightforwardly answered. The last conversation i had with ukvi is that the had ‘escalated my case’ and said wait for 15 more days.

I am very frustrated as i didnt expect them to hold my passport this long. Its also partly my fault as I didnt know iom needs ukvi ielts, now i cant take ukvi ielts bc they are still holding my passport. i got very confused with what category this country falls under. My COE will expire on oct 12th.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that. Somewhere I read that application may take upto 3 weeks from the date when they have received, I can see from your post that you have some issues with eligibility criteria. Unfortunately no body knows the exact workflow, keep followup with them and share your experience once you have any update. It will helps others :)

How long it was taken for you to get your passport back?
