Employer letter for ILR - who should the letter be addressed to?

Post by rahuldwh2000 » Sat Dec 01, 2018 9:41 am

Dear board,

I have a question regarding employer letter for ILR application.

Does the letter need to specify full address of the service center to show who this letter is addressed to? Or, it can be addressed in generic way - mentioning - TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN? Or, something else?

If we were using postal route for the application, we won't anyway specify any center's name because of no physical appearance. But, now every application needs an appointment at a Sopra office, not in a Home Office?

If a sample letter can be attached in reply, it will be very helpful.

Thanks
R

I remember I had applied at Glasgow in person so I had it addressed to that. Are you applying in person or through new sopra steria service?

To Whom it May Concern
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Applying through Sopra service center as I don't think old in-person appointments at a Home Office center is available any more?

You should not be worried about whom it should be addressed to. Simply: To Whom It May Concern.
