Previous earning on Business Visa

My previous earning is like this

1. Was in US on business visa (03rd May 2007 -2nd Aug 2007) --> Indian salary + per diem on business
2. Was in India (3rd Aug 2007-26th Aug 2007)--> Indian salary
3.Was in UK on business visa (27th Aug 2007- 3rd Jan 2008)--> Indian salary + per diem on business
4. Was in India (4th Jan 2008-28th Jan 2008)-->Indian salary
5.Now in UK on Work Permit ( 29th Jan 2008-- Now)

I am showing previous earning from June 2007-May 2008

I have calculated as following

a) June 2007- Jan 2008 : (Total Indian salary)*(5.3)/(Exchange rate at end of Jan)
b) Feb 2008-May 2008 :(UK salary in pounds)

Regarding "a": I stayed almost out side of India on business visa, since i was on business visa Can I multiply Indian salary with 5.3 ?

JUst wanted to check from where you got the Notary affidavit - was it from London or India. Any idea whether your application was successful.

I hope you asumptions where right as Business Visa cannot be considered as working in that country. Even i'm in the same suitation where i have 1 month of Business visa before i start working here in UK on WP. I have calculated as per india earnings for that period(5.3).

Experts, your commets please...

Don't see reference to "notary" by the OP! Anyways, why not use PM for 1-to-1 discussions / information sharing?

Hope the "total Indian salary" doesn't include per diem ('coz per diem is not part of salary).
