Yay finally my process is over for Indefinate Leave to Remain. I recieved my Biometrics Card today but feel disappointed to see the expiry date is 2024. Is there a fee every time you need to reapply. I was under the impression that Applying for Leave to Remain considering the cost involved, that there would be nothing more to pay. I cant find any information if there will be a cost to reapply after the expiry date. Please let me know?

The expiry date on your card is the date which all EU Biometrics cards have to be updated. Your ILR status remains unchanged and you do NOT need to re-apply for ILR. Just like your bank card, you will need to renew your card to an updated version in 2024. You can get a new card for a small fee in 2024.
