Hi,
I have some query regarding online applications form for spouse visa extension category. Pls assist me.
1. What type of ceremony was ur wedding or civil partnership? I’m Muslim n in a Islamic way my marriage has been done. So does the answer should be Muslim marriages ?
2. Is your partner currently residing in uk? My husband came in Uk in 2005 n got citizenship in 2015. I assume answer should be no ?
3. What is ur partner basis for living in uk? Don’t know what does it mean.
4. Does ur husband has any home office reference number ? Same question for me ( I’m applicant) . What reference number they r asking for ? My husband is British citizen.
5. Would your children be affected if ur applications was refused ? Currently I’m pregnant n less than 20 weeks so not received MAT B1 form. I’m confused how should I answer this question.
Please assist me to answer above query. I would really appreciate ur answer.
Thanks

Hi,
Currently I’m going to apply for spouse visa extension.it will expire on April 2019.
I n my husband both of us working under same employer for more than 6 months but I’m permanent n my husband is agency worker. Indivually our income is more than 18,600.
But I’m confused in which category I should apply ? Category A/ B . Here is confusion about salaried n non salaried. I need to apply under one category , can’t combine both.
As my income is fixed n paid monthly ( though I got overtime rate) but husband hour rate is fixed n paid weekly.
Please help.

1) Wedding, religious ceremony.
2) Yes (if your husband is living in the UK at the time of application)
3) He is a British Citizen
4) It could be his Biometric card or approval letter he received for his citizenship. Same in your case on your biometric card or Approval letter previously received.
5) Yes - your children will be affected if your application is rejected. Put details in your cover letter.
If individually your income meet threshold then put permanent income to rely on which will be yours. Chose the category for salaried more than 6 months.

28 days before completing the 30 months from date of entry. But preferably apply very close to the date of visa expiry to avoid any shortfall in qualifying period required for ILR.
