Biometrics for permanent residence - EEA nationals

On 21st January I submitted my application for a permanent residency card. Reading the timeline on this forum I was under the impression that everyone including EEA nationals had to submit their biometrics and they all receive the request to do so within a week.

I was getting very worried seen that i have heard nothing for several weeks now but someone told me EEA nationals don't need to submit biometrics. I'm so confused, can anyone help??

Only NON EEA national requires to do biometric.
