BRP before Citizenship?

Hi I have tried to find existing posts on this already so apologies if I have missed them.
I am married(14 years) to a British citizen and would like to apply for my british citizenship. My main concern is that I am currently employed but do not have BRP to prove right too work since my ILR is in an expired passport. Will I need to apply for my BRP before proceeding?

No you don't need a brp before applying for citizenship.
