Naturalisation Documents Checklist- APPLIED ONLINE HOLDING ILR

Hello All,

I am holding ILR since 2013. My younger daughter has BC, wife & elder one has Spouse/Dependent visa.
I would really appreciate if someone can clarify some of my questions to prepare my application:

I had some Penalty fines.
FPN (£75 Littering fine Feb 2017)- Paid in time
FPN (£100 Speeding fine Oct 2017)- Paid in time also 3 points on licence

I am planning to apply in Jan 2019. Would this cause any issue?
I have read on Home Office website that one should have less than two FPN which in other words is not more than one.

Another thing is Life In UK test. I had passed this back in 2013. I need to find this in my papers. But if I find this would it be sufficient or I need to attend again? I guess they don’t have expiry dates.

Also, it will be kind if you input anything else, I need?

Should be fine if you find the paperwork. Note you also need to meet the English requirement for citizenship.

I have passed B1 English test from Trinity College this year. So Life in UK is not expired?

Also what about my fines? Do I need to mention them?

You need LIUK and it does not expire, so best find the paperwork.

Not many, if any, councils are offering NCS. If you do find one, NCS is for paper form applications.

Otherwise you have to use the online form and the new system, links below.

Last question. On application form Home Office asks to mentioned fines within last 1 year. By the time I will apply I will be more than 1 year. Do i need to mentioned them?

I am asking this again because I came to know that even though there is no validity on the letter it is only valid for 2 years from pass date.

I would really appreciate if someone could please clarify is dilemma for me

Liuk does NOT expire!!

You are confusing the 2 year expiry of the English test cert.

I am about to finish the application online. I am really panicking regarding fines I have. Below are my fines & dates:

03 Feb 2017- FPN for Littering cigarette but (£75 Paid on time)
22 Sept 2017- FPN for Speeding (3 points endorsed & £100 Paid on time)
21 Nov 2017- PCN for taking wrong turn (£65 paid on time)

My concern is that in Guidance HMRC mentioned that in last 3 years if you have more than 2 fines. I fine is in higher limit £200 and over you are most likely to be refused.

Can some one give their expert advise please

I think no one can give you a definite answer. The only thing you can do is disclose them and apply.

The three offences references does not seem to be relevant to you though.

Receiving one does not form part of a person’s criminal record. A fixed penalty
notice will not normally result in refusal unless the person has failed to pay or has
unsuccessfully challenged the notice and there were subsequent criminal
proceedings resulting in a conviction. In such instances, they should be treated in
line with the sentence imposed by the court.
However, multiple fixed penalty notices over a short period of time could
demonstrate a disregard for the law and therefore demonstrate that someone is not
of good character.

With in regards of your matter as far as i know, if the penlties is private then you dont need to worry about it, but if it's gov related than you have to so in this situation.

I don think that's correct. All need to be declared as per case worker guidance linked above.

I thought exactly the same you advised. Not to mentioned ones I received from Council. Wrong turn & littering.

I will disclose speeding fine only.
