VFS Delhi no slots avialbale

Hi,

I am trying to book appointment for my parents visitor visa in VFS delhi but keep getting the message no slots available. Can some one advise what is going on:

1) Do they release slots on specific day/ time which is immediately lapped up by applicants?
2) if slots are not available, Is it worth buying walk in appointments costing RS3000? And how does they work are they limited in numbers?
