settlement visa application

hello everyone

please help me, my wife applied for spouse visa from outside the UK , she give her biometric on 9/9/2018 after 10 weeks i have received email from home office that her application is not straightforward so it will take longer than normal time,from January i have rang home office 3 or 4 times still is waiting for decision i have received 2nd email from home office ( we have been previously advised its not straight forward)
its been more than 6 months now stil waiting for result what can i do please help me
