Extend indian visa for minor in india

Hi my son is 3 years old and he is british citizen and he goes to india on extendable visa but when my mother goes to Frro office to extend visa. But they need a consent letter from me and from my wife which is attested by indian embassy. Can some one give me information. How I can make this consent letter
