Apply for general visa while ICT PBS visa is in process

Hello Moderator,

I am on tier 2 ICT PBS dependent visa that expired on April 4th 2019. My husband company wants to extend 6 months further and we have applied on March 26th 2019 and immigration person said it will take 3 months to get BRP and my passport is with me.

I am also working and my company has applied for COS.It might release this month of 11 April around.

My question is will i be able to apply for general visa from India if my extension is in process?

Your extension will be considered withdrawn when you leave the UK and your Section 3C protection ends as your visa has already expired and you will be a person with no legal status.

if i wish to extend after 3 years do my employer needs to do same RLMT process?
Do i need to get the new restricted COS with the RLMT process?
Do i need to apply from INDIA?
Can i extend visa with out RLMT process from same employer?

No. RLMT is only required if your SOC and job changes with the same employer OR if you change to another employer which would need a new visa application.

For an extension it is an Unrestricted CoS yes. See above re RLMT.

If you are asking about an extension in 3 years time, then NO.

My Tier2 ICT pbs dependent Leave to remain has been approved and i got BRP in hands.It is valid till Oct 2019.

Now i am planning to apply for Tier2 General visa from India.
While filling application i got Immigration health surcharge as 0.

Is this correct or am i missing anything?

Is physical copy required at attending visa and at immigration?

How long is your CoS, 3 years or more than 3 years?? Ihs is determined by this.

What option have you selected as visa sub category of tier 2??

My cos is for 2 years 10 months
visa sub category =tier 2 general migrant up to 3 years

Then it is 'upto 3 years' that you select and you will pay £1200 IHS.

I have filled application and booked the slot on 15th May.So can i pay atleast now to existing IHS reference number

What 'existing IHS number' are you referring to??

I am sorry if I confuse you. Existing IHS is that i got surcharge "0" while i am generating that and added in visa application form.
I got info that if my IHS (Immigration health Surcharge) amount is pending, i will get an email from IHS asking me to pay for amount.

IHS is payable as part of your application. Unless you put in incorrect dates to get a £0 charge.

You don't need a physical cos.
