Does a longer waiting period mean you're likely to be rejected- Schengen

Post by sm12 » Fri May 17, 2019 6:53 pm

I've been granted a Schengen visa several times before.
Usually it was pretty quick and once took a little longer.

This time though it's taking forever.

I applied for Netherlands this time. They are sent to Netherlands for processing and not processed in the London consulate. People applying after me got their visas.

VFS and the Ministry just keep telling me to wait. At around 25 days, I'm not sure what to do.
I'm not a passport holder of a country that requires further checking either.

Does such a long delay typically indicate a rejection? Most applications are reportedly dealt with in <14 days.
