HSMP dependant visa

Post by kumar1981 » Tue Jul 01, 2008 9:55 am

Hi Folks,

I need a help from you. I got HSMP visa and entered UK on May 21st '08. I got a job offer and joined on Jun 23rd '08. I want to apply HSMP dependant visa for my wife. Please let me know if the following documents suffice:

1. My offer letter, employer letter, 1st month payslip
2. Bank statement for 1 month showing the salary credit
3. Accomodation proof
4. 1600 pounds in wife's account
5. Marriage certificate

I'm just worried about the first and second point...will 1 month bank stmt (around 2000 pounds) and payslip suffice? I don't have money in my Indian bank accounts.

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Kumar

Do not worry about 1st and 2nd point.

I had submitted only 1 month bank statement along with 1 payslips and glad i got her visa stamped.

Best of luck

My wife got HSMP dependant visa with the documents as listed in my earlier post. Strange thing is they asked her to fill VAF2. We had earlier called and mailed VFS regarding the forms and they confirmed that she has to use VAF10. However at the VFS, Chennai they asked her to fill VAF2 again. My HSMP visa stamping date is 02-Apr-08

People who are going to apply HSMP dep. visa can carry both the forms (VAF2 and VAF10) to avoid last minute tension.

Cheers,
Kumar
