South Africa marriage

Hello everyone please advice. I’m a Uk refugee with Settlement now and frm Zimbabwe. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the rules of getting married in south africa.

We planned a wedding and was working with a south african marriage officer and it has just come to our attention that South Africa is not allowing UK refugees to get married in their country. How true is this . Please advice

You can marry elsewhere where process is easier which will be acceptable in UK too.
