Is Tier 2 General Holder a UK resident?

Hi folks,

I will be applying for Help to Buy Equity Loan but one of the eligibility criteria is to be a UK Resident - https://www.helptobuy.gov.uk/help-to-bu ... -eligible/

I’d like to know if Tier2 General visa holder is considered as a “UK Resident”?

Would be great if someone could confirm this. I will be applying for IRL soon and I don’t want to have any problems.

Yes you are tax resident if you work in the UK and are present for over 6 months in the year.
