The minimum needed score is 4.0 band. It is enough easy for who can read and post anything here :)

If you choose certificate:
You need to provide your certificate with your mandatory documents.

If you choose online reference number:
Just write the number and Home Office will able to validate it from IELTS. The ref number should start with “TRF”. I have done my application with this way but I also uploaded the certificate for any case.

While paying for IHS do I need to pay for Tier 2 General IHS or Tier 2 general shortage occupation IHS fee.
There is only one IHS fee for ALL visas. For a 5 year visa, it is £2000 IHS. The visa fee is separate to this. SOC 2123 is on both the shortage and non shortage occupation list. What does your CoS say it is? Did your employer have to do RLMT before offering you the job??

Thanks for reply. Just wanted to cross check that there is no cut off set every year for IELTS. It is same as
mentioned on GOV website.

So you pay Tier 2 Shortage Occupation visa fees as your CoS states it is a shortage occupation. There is no discount for IHS though, you have to pay £2,000 for a 5 year visa application.

You could have simply googled this and looked at the HO website which contains the links to the relevant information!!

https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/docum ... st-provide
Criminal record certificate
You’ll need to provide a criminal record certificate if you work in:

education, for example teachers, education advisers and school inspectors
healthcare, for example nurses, doctors, managers, pharmacists, dentists, ophthalmic opticians
therapy, for example psychologists, speech and language therapists
social services, for example social workers, managers, probation officers
Check the full list of professions that need to get a certificate.

You’ll need a certificate from any country you’ve stayed in for a total of 12 months or more over the last 10 years.

Hello All,

My husband is applying for Tier2 general visa from India. In his passport in place of spouse name, my after marriage name is present . while my passport has my before marriage name. Will this create any issue. Do need to submit any self declaration or any document to support that both name belongs to same person?

No. You are overthinking. HO is not really interested in parents and or spouse names placed in Indian passports (a practice not done in most other countries passports).
