MN1 queries

Post by gagansingh22 » Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:21 pm

Hello Guru's,

I have some queries about MN1 form, i don't want to sound naive, just want to make sure I am filling the right answers to it. I recently got my ILR, i'm in process to apply for passport for my son. He is born in UK. I didn't applied for his passport(India).

1. Country of nationality, i presume it would be India? same as me

2. Have you lived at your current address for 5 years? he is only 6 months old? should be yes?

3. Explain why you are unable to provide either a valid national identity card or a travel document.? just mentioning the reason , that never applied for it.

4. Referee details- Health care professional, GP & mid wife- not willing to share their passport details? so any
2 other referee would be fine?

I would appreciate the response.

Thanks

Referee one professional (from list of accepted professions) the other British national both over 25 yrs of age. Hardly any GPs or health care workers are willing to sign. so there is a lot of flexibility.

It is not a required document for UK born children. Ignore it.
