Post by scorpion90 » Fri Jun 07, 2019 8:45 am

Hi good morning all i wonder if you guys can help me about my situation. I applied to register my doughtier as BC 1 st of February online. It has been more than 4 months so far . We used Sophia Steria for bio-metrics and i did not pay any fee for the appointment ,, i loaded all the relevant docs online , then we went to the appointment they took biometrics from her and checked all the documents and told us all done you can go ,, we were not given any receipts about the job they have done. I was wondering do you thing did everything went fine with sopia steria ? Why its taking this long where as all the fellow applicants getting their result in 1 month ?

This is asked all the time here. We cannot tell you why an application is taking longer than others. Your application is decided on its own so it is irrelevant that others are getting responses faster or sooner. Wait to hear back as the official time frame is 6 months

The question is .. I was told that if we can not process your application with in 6 months we will tell you asap .. Why would they say this?

They often don't. They do not have such obligation either

MN1 1(3) can take years as well like naturalisation? I applied almost 4 and half months ago. Still no update. My some friends applied their kids registration after getting ILR and they got decision with 2 months.

Your friends kids application has no relevance to yours. I am afraid we cannot help you on nationality applications taking longer than usual. You must wait to hear back :!:

Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.

We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. I meant to ask if you also submitted payslips and other proof of working in the UK, rather than a DCPR or Settled Status.

I see that the more the moderators indulge such questions, the more persistent and demanding they become. When they receive an email telling them to wait, why are they so inconsiderate to keep badgering with the same questions? If HO does not give an acceptable response do they expect people in a forum to give tell them how their case is progressing??
