HAP AND CITIZENSHIP APPLICATIONS

Hi guys im eligible for Housing assistant payment and im naturalized irish citizens and my wife's citizenship applications is in proccess and she is house wife. if i apply for HAP IS THERE ANY HARM on my wife's citizenship application and does she need to inform the dept as well?

I think it s the applicant only who should not have claimed any government assistance such as social welfare etc. It s not the spouse of the applicant. At least there is no such question in the application form. They only ask this relevant question from the applicant. If anyone has had a different experience with INIS , they might be able to advise here.
