Post by ayebee » Sun Aug 25, 2019 11:18 pm

Hello

Can anyone clarify whther the £18,600 per year salary requirement that the sponsoring spouse must have in order for his wife-to-be from Russia to get her UK visa must be a yearly salary from a permanent job or can it be from temporary contracts amounting to same?

Also how is evidenece of this salary obtained? Bank records, note from employer?

For meeting the financial requirement the sponsor must be earning at least £18600 per year either from permanent/temporary or any kind of contract. If the sponsor has been working from at least 6 months with present employer then 6 months of payslips and 6 months of corresponding bank statements will be needed otherwise if working from less than 6 months then 12 months of payslips & bank statements. Also he will need an employer letter confirming his length of employment, job title, basic wages & overtime/bonus etc. Hope it clarify you. You can read about it and other requirements at below's official source:
