Maintenance fund for tier 2 dependent visa extension

Hi i will soon be applying for ilr via tier 2 (pbs) 5yr route and my husband is to apply shortly after (hopefully if mine will be granted) for tier 2 dependent visa extension and i am just wondering if he can use bank accounts under my name as proof of maintenance funds? And does it matter if it’s in the savings or current account? Thank you very much
