ICT Tier 2 Visa Delay

Post by Dilip0102 » Wed Sep 18, 2019 7:50 am

Hi All,

I have applied for my Visa on 6th August and i haven't heard anything from them.

It's frustrating that we don't even what's really happening and the updates arent really up to date and answers to enquiries arent really helpful

Application / Biometrics Submission Date : 6th August
Email from Sheff : 7th August( Preparing for Entry clearance officier)
1st Escalation : 28th August
2nd Escalation : 16th Sep

Do anyone else have same problem?

Thanks,
Dilip

if you applied using the standard service, it can take up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer.

Im regularly in touch with my Employer, but the problem is "They too don't have an update and suggested me to wait". Its been more than 30 working days and still we don't know how long it might take.

My colleagues who applied on sep 2nd, there Visa has been approved and they traveled to UK also.

Do you have any adverse immigration history in any country??

Did you meet all the requirements for the ICT visa?

In 2013 i got 2 years Singapore Visa but i worked only for 8 months. Will that be the problem ?

Yes, i have worked for 12 months in this company, now i'm eligible for ICT Tier 2. we have scanned all documents in VFS and they confirmed no more documents are required.

I applied for tier 2 dependant priority for my kids on 30th july and havent heard from them since then inspite of multiple escalations.
I am now on verge of losing my job as i cant travel without my kids.
I guess it is pretty normal for them not to inform or reply to any queries.

Hi Mouli,

Did you get any email from UKV1 for the delay ?

I escalated on 28th August and got an email on 3rd Sep "Once these mandatory Checks have been completed the results of these checks may mean that further extended checks need to be carried out; this was the case with this application".

I don't have any idea on this.

Thanks,
Dilip

User Mouli's situation is completely different to yours. She applied for her children when her husband in the UK did not yet have their ICT approval and the rules require both parents to be applying at the same time as the children or if in the UK, must have a valid visa.
